Buzzcocks - A Different Kind of Tension - Vinyl Record Import

The Buzzcocks' final album of their first phase is more fragmented, with some tracks reminiscent of their earlier work and others showcasing their ambition. "Paradise" and "You Say You Don't Love Me" are particularly good. Diggle's electronic vocals on "Sitting Round at Home" stand out. "Mad Mad Judy" is energetic and spacious. The band experiments towards the end, producing some of their best songs, including "Hollow Inside" and the title track. The album ends on a high note with "I Believe." This song alone makes Tension worth listening to.
