Death Cab for Cutie returned to the studio in December 2022 determined to reimagine their latest record, 'Asphalt Meadows', using the simplest of arrangements. The result, the intimate acoustic album version, will be released on vinyl by Barsuk Records this summer. The album also features a tribute to the late, incredible Mimi Parker, with one of the band's favorite songs, "The Plan" by Low.
